Meet Elibariki – Your Tour Expert to East Africa’s Wild Heart
I’m Elibariki Yesaya Mgonza, and I was born and raised in a small village at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Growing up, I was always curious about the big cats roaming Tanzania’s wilderness. That childhood fascination never left me – it became my passion and my career.
After high school in Moshi, I studied wildlife and tourism and earned my guide license in 2001. Since then, I’ve spent years working with safari companies across Tanzania, learning the land and meeting travelers from all over the world. On those trips, I discovered so many hidden places and stories that most visitors never get to see.
I started Feline Safaris Tanzania Limited™ because I wanted to share those stories and focus on what I love most: Tanzania’s big cats and the wild places they call home. Today, I organize and lead safaris across Tanzania, Kenya, and beyond. For me, it’s about more than showing you wildlife – it’s about protecting it and supporting the communities that live alongside it.
With over 20 years in the field, I know the routes, the wildlife, and the finer details that turn a good trip into an unforgettable one. From your first message to us right through to the end of your safari, I’ll make sure you’re taken care of every step of the way.
