Detailed Itinerary

Accommodation Level: Mid range-Budget Camping.

Upon your arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to your city hotel for your itinerary briefing. A refreshing overnight stay, before embarking on your bush adventure. 

Arusha / Tarangire National Park

Driving distance 118km – 1.57hrs

At 7am you will be met by your guide at your hotel. Then you will head to Tarangire for game viewing. When rain season ends, the wilderness dries out rapidly. The grass turns brown, and the river shrunken but packed with wildlife.
Thirsty nomads have wandered hundreds of parched miles knowing that there’s always water here. Elephant herds scratch the dry riverbed for underground streams. While migratory wildebeest, buffalo, eland, zebra, Impala, hartebeest and gazelle crowd the shrinking lagoons. On any given day lion, leopard and cheetah can also be seen.

Picnic lunch will be served. Then we will continue game driving. Elephant mobs are easily seen in dry or wet weather. As sunsets, you will head to the camp for dinner.

-Overnight stay at Tarangire National Park Bush Camp

Tarangire National Park / Serengeti National Park

Driving distance 226 km-4hrs 30mins

You will leave camp early after breakfast. Set out for game viewing en route, towards the Serengeti, via a Maasai steppes. The inspiring view of Lake Manyara nestled at the foot of the Great Rift Valley, along the magnificent Ngorongoro crater rim. Before reaching the grasslands of diverse wildlife.

Picnic lunch will be served, thereafter you will continue game viewing en route towards iconic central Serengeti valley. Chocked with amazing predator species. While elephants, Topi, buffalo, hartebeest, eland and gazelle congregate the plains and rivers. At sunset we will enter camp for dinner.

-Overnight stay at Seronera Bush Camp

Serengeti National Park / Ngorongoro

Driving distance 110km – 2hrs

Day three starts with an early cup of coffee then we leave at 6am. Sunrise drives provide great chances to witness the lion, leopard, hyena and cheetah roaming the plains searching for prey.

After a marvelous morning drive you will return to the camp for brunch. Then you will depart for more game driving en route, via the eastern scenic open grasslands. Then we will exit the Naabi gate, and to drive to the rim of the Ngorongoro crater, to arrive at camp by evening for dinner.

Ngorongoro Crater / Arusha

Driving distance 179km – 2.57hrs

On the fourth day of your safari, it is time to enjoy game viewing at the crater floor. The stunning valley never ceases to amaze as we descent the 610meter wall.

Before the volcano exploded and collapsed it was one of the world’s tallest mountains. Today it is home to many mammals. The elephant, hippopotamus, black rhino, buffalo, eland, zebra and wildebeest to name a few.

In the afternoon picnic lunch will be served, thereafter game driving will continue before ascending the wall to head back to Arusha.

You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to fly out of the country or Arusha Domestic Airport and fly to Zanzibar or join another wildlife safari if extended excursions are selected.
