Crater Highlands
Let’s get off the tarmac roads. Our walking tours are a lovely way to feel hugged by nature. We will be touring the evergreen forests, the highlands and Rift Valley escapement. Part of this trek will take place in remote area occupied by wild animals therefore we will be accompanied by an armed ranger to ensure our safety. Donkeys will carry our belongs for duration of our trek.

Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro, Driving Distance 3 hours
The first day of your adventure starts early in the morning from Arusha town, towards the crater floor of the Ngorongoro. The crater supports many species of wild animals. Among them are the elephant, hippo, buffalo, eland, zebra, wildebeest, gazelle as well as predators like lion and hyena. Lunch will be served at the crater floor. After you will continue with game viewing before heading to the basement of the Mount Olmoti for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight stay at Olmoti Camp
Day 2: Olimoti Camp – Blat Camp, Walking Duration 5-6hr
You will leave the camp before sunrise for a hike that will take 45-minutes to summit. 3,700 meters above sea level, stunning views of the Munge water fall and the Olmoti crater floor. A home to bushbuck, elands, buffalo and many species of birds and flowers. After a nature and wilderness filled morning, breakfast will be served. Your walk through Lolmalasin villages awesome setting of the Embulibuli depression and to arrive at the camp as the evening set in.
Overnight stay at Blat Camp
Day 3: Blati Camp – Embakai Camp, Walking Duration 5-6hr
After breakfast you will head to the rim of the Embakai Crater. At 2,300 meters the eastern atmosphere of the Ngororongoro highland region consist of many varieties of dry and evergreen trees. On a clear day from the eastern highland, one can see the snow cape of Mount Kilimanjaro. Mount Meru is the still active volcano of the Oldonyo Lengai. At 85 meters deep an alkaline lake covers about 75% of its floor. You will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the camp.
Day 4: Embakai Crater – Acacia Camp Walking Duration 6 – 7hr
We will descend 300 meters towards the crater basement after an early breakfast. its floor are 6km in diameter. It is a home to abundant waterfowl and numbers of pink flamingo. The forest support waterbuck, bushbuck, leopard, turacos, and various sun birds. Awesome landscapes of the Naiyobi depressions are also home to many of the Massai tribe.
Day 5: Acacia Camp – Lake Natron, Walking Duration: 4 -5 hr
Another day of stretching our legs along the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. A walk will take you to the un-fenced view of lake Natron, the Oldoyo Lengai mountain and its surroundings. Upon your arrival at the foot of the valley the driver will take you to camp for lunch and siesta. Next is a refreshing swim at the waterfalls. You will return to your lodging for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Lake Natron – Arusha Driving Distance 5 h 30
We will start our safari after breakfast. Our drive through Arusha city will meet views of Lake Natron, where the most east African Flamingos habitat. Then we arrive at the hotel for overstay or transferred to your next destination.
