Detailed Itinerary

Accommodation Level: Mid-range Budget Camping

Upon your arrival from Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our airport representative for itinerary briefing. Then driven for an overnight stay at your lodging, before starting your adventure. 

Arusha / Serengeti National Park

Driving distance 347.6km 5:30hrs

Your driver guide will meet you at your hotel at 7am. Be ready to depart to the vast open plains you won’t find anywhere else on earth. On safari you will encounter stunning scenery along lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro crater. Then descend to admirable open grasslands of the Serengeti. As the afternoon sets in, picnic lunch will be served. Thereafter you will continue game driving en route towards the Seronera valley that displays various wildlife. As the evening sets in, you will be entering camp for dinner.

Serengeti National Park / Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Driving distance 110km – 2hrs

Today our game drive will start at 6am, an early morning drive at the plains of the Serengeti. Excellent sunrise scenery.  We can catch prowling wildlife before they retire into hideouts. Among them cheetah, Leopard, lions and the spotted hyena.

This wilderness is also to big mammals like elephant, hippopotamus, giraffe, buffalo, eland, hartebeest, topi and impala to name a few.  You will return to the camp for brunch, breakfast and lunch. Then depart for a game drive en route past the eastern open grasslands, before exiting the Naabi main gate. Past the rim of the Ngorongoro crater, and to arrive at the camp as the evening sets in.

Ngorongoro Crater / Arusha

Driving distance 179 km – 2.57hrs

Game drive at the crater floor after an early nutritious breakfast. The iconic caldera is intact with emotive scenery and diverse mammals. A wide population of mainly elephant, hippopotamus, buffalo, eland, zebra, wildebeest, hartebeest, water-buck, warthog, bush-buck, gazelle and black rhino. Predators such as lions and hyena are all here to be seen.

In the afternoon picnic lunch will be served, thereafter you will continue on wildlife viewing before ascending the crater wall and driving back to Arusha.

-You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to fly out of the country or Arusha Domestic Airport and fly to Zanzibar or join another wildlife safari if extended excursions are selected.
