In May there is more rain than other times of year, but generally there are fewer safari vehicles and still abundant wildlife. The wildernesses are green. This is also a fine time to explore the eastern Serengeti plains and the Ngorongoro craters abundant wildlife.
June is the beginning of dry and cold season, chilling especially at night and morning. This time of the year Tarangire offers less wildlife numbers than previous months. The Serengeti migration herds will be meandering between center and western. The wildlife in the Ngorongoro Crater is a must see. The number of safari vehicles is medium in June.
The region is usually dry and the grass turns yellow. At Tarangire and Serengeti masses of wild game gather along the rivers and water ponds. Much wildlife in the Ngorongoro Crater. The number of people in the parks is high in this season.

A season of short rains usually occurs at anytime during November and December. Showers generally happen in the night and are short lived. Temperatures are warm during the day and can drop considerably at night. The first thunder showers start to build over the Serengeti rolling plains and relieve the wild residents from the dry habitat. In Tarangire there are a number of resident game year around. The Ngorongoro crater is abundant with wildlife. The number of visitors in the parks are low in November.

Upon your arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to your city hotel for your itinerary briefing. A refreshing overnight stay, before embarking on your adventure.
Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Driving distance 120km – 2hrs
After breakfast we will drive to the Lake Manyara. The vibrant shallow alkaline water lake nestled at the foot of the Great Rift Valley. Natural wonders like the underground water forest, acacia woodland, marshland and open grasslands make you feel one with nature. Stunning settings and vast flocks of lesser flamingos enjoy the lakeshore. A whole range of attractions for adventurous travelers. Let’s observe the Elephant, Giraffe, Buffalo, Wildebeest and many more. The olive baboons and blue monkeys are a real sight to see.
As the afternoon sets in, a picnic lunch will be served at the park. Then we will continue wildlife viewing and exit the park by sunset. Last stop the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Manyara – Center of Serengeti National Park
Driving distance 176km – 3hrs
Safari starts after breakfast we’ll venture past the south-west forested rim of the Ngorongoro crater. Next let’s head to the Serengeti plains, scattered with awesome Granite formations. Lunch will be served at the park surrounded by nature. Then we will view magnificent sceneries towards the center of the park. After a lovely drive, as the sunsets we will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Day Game Drive Serengeti
We will venture out after breakfast for a full day game drive. Between April and May the central valley and western corridor is the best locations to witness the movements of the Great annual migration herds. Wildebeest and zebra, the productive grass and water still persist on the area is all about the hesitant wildebeest concern and allows unsurpassed moments and photographic opportunities for adventures.
Apart from the movements of the wildebeest, the center valley has a high concentration of predator life. Let’s see the lions, leopard and the endangered cheetah in action. A delicious picnic lunch will be served in the bush before continuing our game on viewing. As the evening sets in we will return to your lodging for dinner and overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
Driving distance 130km – 3hrs
Let’s view the peaceful open Serengeti plains at 06:00am. Nocturnal life are still prowling in the wee hours of the morning. Thereafter a remarkable morning of viewing the Serengeti’s spectacular wildlife, you will return to the camp for breakfast.
By then you’ll set out again for abundant wildlife viewing from the central valley to the southeast open grasslands and the Naabi hill entrance. After the exit formalities, the drive will take us to a Maasai village. We will learn and explore custom traditional ways. Thereafter we’ll drive to the rim of the Ngorongoro crater and arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha town
Driving distance 176km – 3hrs
On day five we will visit the crater floor where the world’s largest intact caldera is. After an early breakfast, the crater takes the cake as one of the most beautiful habitats on earth. The Black rhino inhabits the green bushes and forested areas. Our tour are educational and fun.
Picnic Lunch will be served at the crater floor. Thereafter we continue a rewarding game drive, before heading back to Arusha.

You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to fly out of the country or Arusha Domestic Airport and fly to Zanzibar or join another wildlife safari if extended excursions are selected.
