Kilimanjaro airport – Arusha 1 h Transfer


Program: -Upon your arrival from Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by our airport representative for itinerary briefing. Then driven for an overnight stay at your lodging, before starting your adventure. 

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Driving Distance: 118 km, 1 hr 57 mins

Activities: Game viewing
Program: After an early breakfast we will set out to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. The name of this park originates from the river that crosses through the park. It is the only source of water for wild animals during the dry seasons. This wilderness is famous for its large number of elephants, abundant baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons.

As the afternoon sets in you will stop for a picnic lunch. Then we will continue game viewing before entering the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park – Manyara National Park

Activities: Game viewing
Program: Departure to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing early after breakfast. The park has amazing attractions, diverse wildlife and hundreds upon thousands of pink flamingos. Apart from lesser flamingos, the nature offers an excellent habitat that attracts over 370 bird species. Waterfowls or migrants, includes pelicans, yellow billed storks, black winged stilt, yellow billed egret, African spoon bill, common sand piper, black egret, pied avocet, gloss ibis and many other frolic at the swamps. This nature is also famous for its tree climbing lion. On lucky days, flat topped acacia trees are  spotted with relaxing lions. In the afternoon picnic lunch will be served. Thereafter we continue our game drive, enjoying wildlife, before heading to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Manyara – Bushman Visit at Lake Eyasi

Driving distance: 75km 1hr drive

Activities: Buman Visit

Program: After breakfast you will depart towards the bushman habitat of the Hadzabe tribe. One of the few ethnic groups still holding their traditional ways of living. This tribe speaks using clicks of the tongue and they are still very nomadic. Hunting wild animals with bow and arrows as well as gathering wild fruits, roots and honey.

Traditional caves or huts made from sticks and grass are still made by the Hadzabe. Upon your arrival at their residence, you will first learn their tradition ways of living. Then we will join warriors of the tribe to learn about hunting. After a remarkable morning you will return to the compound to witness a dunce bye then head to the camp, past a Datooga village.

In another semi-migrant tribe, they also live in huts made from sticks and mud, their origins are thought to be from Ethiopia, or south Sudan. They are recorded to have moved more south to today Tanzania.  these people resemble Maasai in their way of living. They are polygamous, raise cattle and the men walk with spears. Women dress gowns made from animal skins and have tattoos around the eyes.

Lake Eyasi – Serengeti National Park

Driving Distance: 175 km, 2 hrs 45 mins

Activities: Game viewing
Program: After a cultural tour in the Great Rift Valley, we will head to the Serengeti in the morning. Past the rim of the Ngorongoro crater, as you enter southwest of the Serengeti yours eyes will be captured by the open grasslands famed as a paradise to predators and many varieties of birdlife.

Picnic lunch will be served at the park. After lunch we will continue past beautiful open plains covered by ‘kopjes’.  Lion, leopard and cheetahs use them as shelter on hot days. As the sunsets you will be entering the camp for dinner and overnight stay

-Overnight stay at Serengeti Bush Camp

Full Day Serengeti National Park

Activities: Game viewing
Program: You have a full day exploring the Serengeti National Park. A day is dedicated to game drives in the plains. You will have a great chance to experience its abundant predators. Among them the lion, leopard, hyena, cheetah and jackal.

By afternoon we will stop for picnic lunch in the bush. Thereafter we will continue with game viewing. As the sun sets, we will enter camp for dinner and overnight stay

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro

Driving distance: 110km – 2hrs drive

Activities: Game viewing
Program: You will set off for a sunrise game viewing in the Serengeti plain. Before returning to the camp for brunch, breakfast and lunch. Then you will set off for more game driving before exiting the Nabi main gate. Drive past the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater to arrive at camp as the evening sets in.

Ngorongoro crater – Arusha

Driving distance: 177km – 3hrs drive

Activities: Game viewing
Program: An early start perhaps with a picnic breakfast served at the crater floor. Untamed scenery of the Ngorongoro Valley will never cease to amaze. The crater floor has a large resident population of wildlife including buffaloes, wildebeest, zebras, eland, hartebeest, gazelles, Black Rhino and lion. A high density of Hyena clans also live here. In the afternoon picnic lunch will be served at the crater floor before returning back to Arusha.

Arusha – Kilimanjaro International Airport

Program: Today you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to fly out of the country or Arusha Domestic Airport and fly to Zanzibar or join another wildlife safari if extended excursions are selected.
